I'm baaaack....

ok i honestly haven't updated in a while probably because of halo 3, hey i'm still a gamer! but anyways i updated my official website with 20 new drawings posted up so check em out! and here is some more drawings! the last two are life drawings of course, enjoy!

I've been attending life drawing classes alot lately, i just made it a habit that i go twice or sometimes 3 times a week, so it would be pretty bad not to put some of this stuff up on the blog for yall to peep.so here ya go...

booze or doodle

this past tuesday i attended another life drawing session but this one is a little different it is held the first tuesday of every month at the vortex known as the "booze or doodle" i don't drink or anything so i just doodled! and just like any life drawing session its a model and you start with gestures and move on to longer poses. but whats different is that its more of a show...a burlesque show...umm well anyways its not as weird as you think it is. actually its pretty cool (free tator tots c'mon on!) see for your self here.

i'm not in any of the photos because they haven't put them up yet but you can get the idea from there previous sessions. but here is one of the drawings i did there, its part of there creative challenge theme.



basically the model for the evening was a dough nut girl and ya got 15mins to make up a theme about the pose she was in, and the old famous stereotype about police officers and dough nuts came to mind.



this has nothing to do with the booze or doodle but i just drew this with my wacom tablet and colored it in corel painter. honestly i don't color my drawings alot and i think i should start doing that more often..

Lets Break!

okay not so much has been going on lately except that i finished school thats all..aww c'mon thats a very big deal, the only thing thats on my mind is finding a job in my field now.I don't graduate officially until December, but seriously though i am glad to be done and now i am ready and excited for that next big step! but till then i will always be drawing and i'm also going to do another animation short that is still undecided rather its traditional or flash but i'm excited about that too.



ok so i can draw all day because i love doing it, but also i do like to take a break and exercise a little bit and that involves breakdancing, honestly i haven't been doing it in a while, but i have been going at it off and on lately its just fun to do. heres one of my favorite freezes that i would normally pull off. this was done with my wacom tablet in corel painter.

there is another place where i go do some life drawings in thats at the Westwood college on Thursday night. here is some gestures from the past 2 thursday sessions.

Hyenas are one of my favorite animals, so why not?



there is an old skool rap group by the name of "da youngstas" from the early 90s, and its still in my cd player today. So it inspired me to create my own lyrical stick up kids!



every monday night i usually stop by apache cafe and do some life drawing, and this is one of the drawings from last night that i did. If you stay around the atlanta area and ya wanna draw some life drawing on a monday night you should check out apache cafe.

Finally, time for some Artwork!

Alright i carry around my sketchbook like its just a part of my life, so it would be strange for me not to put up any drawings, so on that note check these out! o yeah and I tried to adjust the levels in photoshop as best as i could but my scanner is not that great so i tried to do what i can with the quality. also notice how i try to find an official signature for my name on my artwork :)



so why not start with a purty lady, i mean seriously drawing women is just fun to me
curves, and better poses i mean c'mon!



unfortunately marta(the subway, bus) is my only means of transportation right now :(
but on the bright side that keeps me drawing people all the time:)

Update!

Sorry I haven't had the time to update this blog in the past few weeks, but i have been crazy busy lately trying to graduate,But I did finally managed to get my first official website up and running!( See i'm not slacking!) I don't know to much about setting up websites, especially flash websites. but with a little bit of patience i finally figured it out, Its really not to complicated. I actually find it alot easier then basic HTML especially with all those codes you gotta juggle around, But for my first shot at it i don't think it turned out to bad. any comments on what you think can make the site better or more interesting would be greatly appreciated.
